    Collection 17397 was collected by E. Grilli, F. Bersan (EG-131106.05), det: E. Grilli on 6th November 2013 in Bosco di Patanella (Oasi WWF), Orbetello (GR), Tuscany, ITALY (42.6475°N, 11.2169°E, altitude approximately 5 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Pinus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous woodland with a substrate of soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Lamellae: attachment adnate, emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 54; tears absent; white fimbriate edge absent.

    Stipe: 40–70 x 4–7 {median} x 6–14 {basal} mm; stipe Q 10.0; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity floccose, pruinose; rooting not recorded; mycelial chords not recorded.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 22.1; smell fruit; taste mild.
