    Collection 16899 was collected by L. Davies, H.J. Beker on 20th August 2017 in Creswell Bay, Somerset Island, Nunavut, CANADA (72.7428°N, 93.7649°W, altitude approximately 25 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
