Collection 16372 was collected by A. MacKinnon, det: O. Ceska on 24th October 2015 in Vancouver Island, Mesachie Lake, forest station site; Schenstroms plot trails, E from the Forestry Rd., British Columbia, CANADA (approx. 48.8241°N, 124.1299°W, altitude approximately 200 m above sea level - Google maps). The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.

According to the GPS data the collection was in the Puget lowland forests WWF ecoregion The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have divided the world into 867 terrestrial ecoregions. The ecoregion here is estimated by mapping from the GPS coordinates of the collection using data made available by Dinerstein et al (2017). Use this webtool to explore the ecoregions visually or see a full list of current ecoregions on Wikipedia.
