Collection 16217 (herbarium acc. no. TNS-F-44560) is Hebeloma citrisporum.

    Collection 16217 was collected by K. Hosaka (JPN11-529) on 8th November 2011 in Meiji Shrine,Kamizono-cho, Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, JAPAN (approx. 35.6781°N, 139.6999°E, altitude approximately 60 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Quercus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 56; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 44–59 x 8–10 {median} x 12–18 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.4–6.6; base bulbous; floccosity pruinose at apex, velute; rooting no; mycelial chords yes.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 6.4; smell not recorded; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 29.1–34.3 x 8.6–9.8 μm; ave. Q = 3.4; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape gently clavate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose, ventricose; special features not recorded; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.53; A/B = 1.22; B/M = 1.32.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 95 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 7 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, thickly sausage-shaped up to 15 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 125 μm.
