    Collection 15862 was collected by M.A. Ribes, J. Cuesta, D. Merino, P. Sepulveda, P. Delgado, F. Pancorbo (FP-16120307) on 3rd December 2016 in Santa Elena, Camino del Barranco del Lobo, 30SVH506449, Jaen, SPAIN (approx. 38.3442°N, 3.5663°W, altitude approximately 760 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Cistaceae (genus Cistus) and Pinaceae (genera Pinus and Cedrus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as woodland clearing, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
