Collection 14723 was collected by E.C. Vellinga on 27th December 2011 in Point Reyes, Bishop Pine Forest, California, UNITED STATES (38.0543°N, 122.8528°W, altitude approximately 250 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Pinaceae (genera Pinus and Pseudotsuga) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
