Collection 13503 was collected by E. Horak on 20th April 2010 in Negeri Sembilan, Bahau, Simpang Pertang, Pasoh Forest Reserve, MALAYSIA (approx. 2.7264°N, 102.0783°E, altitude approximately 165 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.
The surrounding habitat was described as tropical woodland with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Cheilocystidia: main shape cylindrical, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose, lageniform, lanceolate, ventricose; special features mucronate, rostrate, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 0.97; A/B = 0.78; B/M = 1.28.
