    Collection 12416 was collected by H. Knudsen (JV-93-402) on 4th August 1993 in Sudur-Mulasysla: Hallormstadur, Holaruir, ICELAND (approx. 65.1243°N, 14.6773°W, altitude approximately 160 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genus Betula) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
