Collection 12331 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-08-133) is Hebeloma vesterholtii.

    Collection 12331 was collected by J. Vesterholt (08-133) on 5th September 2008 in E-Jyll.: Elbæk Skov E of Horsens, N of Horsens Fjord, EJ, DENMARK (55.8616°N, 9.9375°E, altitude approximately 5 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genera Fagus and Quercus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous, dry, sloping woodland with a substrate of calcareous, clayey soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code Dfb (Cold, no dry season, warm summer).

    Pileus: 42–85 mm diameter; shape convex, umbonate, umbonate broadly; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous yes; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre pinkish buff, clay-buff; and colour at margin pinkish buff, dark pinkish buff; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment adnate, emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 77; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 45–65 x 9–10 {median} x 8–9 {basal} mm; stipe Q not recorded; base cylindrical, tapering; floccosity pruinose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure not recorded; smell raphanoid; taste bitter weakly, mild, raphanoid.

    Spore deposit colour: analysis not yet complete.

    Exsiccata: normal.
