Collection 1000145 (herbarium acc. no. LIP JVG1080108-19, BR BR-MYCO 169129-58) is the holotype of Hebeloma alboerumpens.

    Collection 1000145 was collected by J. Vila, X. Llimona on 8th January 2008 in el Port de la Selva, sa Perafita, Girona, SPAIN (approx. 42.299°N, 3.233°E, altitude approximately 245 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Cistaceae (genus Cistus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as Mediterranean maquis with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 60 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters reflexed, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre ochraceous; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment adnate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 64; tears visible with x10 lens; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 50 x 16 {median} x 20 {basal} mm; stipe Q 3.1; base clavate, cylindrical, subbulbous; floccosity floccose weak, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 2.6; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid, ovoid; colour through microscope brown; guttulate yes; papillate no; Spore Code: O1; O2; P0; D3.

    Basidia: 21.7–34.7 x 7.3–8.5 μm; ave. Q = 3.6; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape clavate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose; special features short; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.82; A/B = 1.35; B/M = 1.36.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 80 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 4 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, ellipsoid, isodiametric, thickly sausage-shaped.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 80 μm.
