Description

    Collection 1000537 was collected by C.H. Peck in October 1903 in Albany County, Menands, New York, UNITED STATES (approx. 42.692°N, 73.7246°W, altitude approximately 10 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mown parkland with a substrate of grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Stipe: 30–45 x 4–8 {median} x 4–8 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.6–7.5; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
