    Collection 1000532 was collected by C.H. Peck in July 1870 in Catskill Mountains, New York, UNITED STATES (approx. 41.509°N, 74.926°W, altitude approximately 350 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as woodland with a substrate of boggy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
