    Collection 1000405 was collected by W.A. Murrill on 22nd January 1941 in Alachua, Gainesville W. University Ave , Florida, UNITED STATES (approx. 29.652°N, 82.3745°W, altitude approximately 20 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Quercus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
