Collection 1000378 was collected by S. Imai in August 1934 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, JAPAN (approx. 43.1714°N, 141.3155°E, altitude approximately 5 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.
The surrounding habitat was described as garden pathside with a substrate of decomposed litter, wood, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
