    Collection 1000359 was collected by W.A. Murrill on 17th October 1938 in Alachua County, southwest of Gainesville, Sugarfoot Hammock, Florida, UNITED STATES (approx. 29.6664°N, 82.3299°W, altitude approximately 50 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of decomposed litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
