    Collection 1000339 was collected by E.L. Murrill on 25th December 1908 in trail at Cinchona, JAMAICA (approx. 18.0707°N, 76.6557°W, altitude approximately 1500 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as montane, tropical woodland pathside with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
