    Collection 1000303 was collected by W.A. Murrill on 7th November 1911 in Glen Brook, Oregon, UNITED STATES (approx. 44.3139°N, 123.4053°W, altitude approximately 100 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Abies) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous woodland with a substrate of litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
