Collection 16669 was collected by T. Borgen (90.010) on 12th August 1990 in Paamiut/Frederikshåb, S, GREENLAND (approx. 62.01°N, 49.4°W, altitude approximately 25 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra snowbed with a substrate of boggy, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
