Collection 19467 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 13th December 2019 in Camp Hardtner, Louisiana, UNITED STATES (31.6304°N, 92.4001°W, altitude approximately 60 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Quercus) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as mixed parkland with a substrate of grassy, mossy, sandy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 32–35 mm diameter; shape umbonate broadly; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin cream; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 58; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.
Stipe: 30–35 x 7–8 {median} x 7–8 {basal} mm; stipe Q 3.8–5.0; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, superior wick; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 4.3; smell none; taste not recorded.
Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.
Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.

Basidia: 23.7–25.1 x 7.3–7.8 μm; ave. Q = 3.2; basidia spore nature not recorded.
Cheilocystidia: main shape clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose; special features not recorded; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.82; A/B = 1.24; B/M = 1.55.
Pleurocystidia: no.
Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 190 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation no; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid up to 16 μm wide.
Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 95 μm.
