Collection 14926 was collected by J. Stordal (11.680) on 5th August 1960 in Vest-Spitsbergen, Dicksonfjorden, Kapp Wijk,near Hytta, SVALBARD (approx. 78.5996°N, 15.1966°E, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
