Collection 19339 was collected by N. Siegel (3697) on 17th April 2019 in Totara Campground, Milford Sound Road. , South Island, NEW ZEALAND (approx. 45.0773°S, 167.984°E, altitude approximately 290 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Fagaceae (genus Fagus) and Myrtaceae (genus Melaleuca) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.

Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 84; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.
Stipe: 38–55 x 9–12 {median} x 10–14 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.2–4.6; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords not recorded.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 6.1; smell none; taste bitter.
