Collection 13307 was collected by H.J. Beker on 16th October 2009 in La Baraka, Gorse Hill Road, Virginia Water, Surrey, ENGLAND (51.4087°N, 0.5643°E, altitude approximately 35 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as urban garden with a substrate of grassy, neutral soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 21–37 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous yes; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre warm buff, honey; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 7 mm; number of complete lamellae 37; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.
Stipe: 49–71 x 3–5 {median} x 3–5 {basal} mm; stipe Q 9.8–20.3; base cylindrical; floccosity pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 29.1; smell sacchariolentia, sweet; taste not recorded.
