Collection 12470 was collected by D.K. Aanen on 3rd October 1996 in Eemshaven;Groningen, NETHERLANDS (approx. 53.455°N, 6.806°E, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as dune slack, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
