Collection 10846 was collected by J. Vesterholt (95-409) on 29th September 1995 in Livo,N of village UTM NJ 0505 TBU 10, NEJ, DENMARK (approx. 56.89°N, 9.08°E, altitude approximately 15 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded with a substrate of boggy soil.
According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code Cfb (Temperate, no dry season, warm summer).

Pileus: 15–50 mm diameter; shape convex, umbonate broadly; margin characters involute, serrate, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre clay-buff, cinnamon; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 36; tears absent; white fimbriate edge absent.
Stipe: 40–95 x 3–9 {median} x 3–7 {basal} mm; stipe Q 10.6–13.3; base cylindrical, tapering; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 27.8; smell sacchariolentia, sweet; taste bitter weakly.
Spore deposit colour: analysis not yet complete.
Exsiccata: lamellae blackening, stipe blackening.
